How we measure →
Why not just an uptime check? A plain uptime monitor pings a URL and calls a 200 “up.” But an MCP server can return 200 and still be broken to an agent — it exposes no tools, sits behind an auth wall, or its tool schema silently changed. We probe the MCP protocol itself: handshake → tools/list → schema, outside-in, no SDK. Healthy = responds and lists tools without credentials; auth = alive but needs a key; dead = unreachable or non-conformant.
